Happy with the workout. Shoulder is still bothering me, but is much better. I did a different warm up scheme today and it seemed to benefit me as I was fresher for my heavier sets. 185x15 was rough afterwards, but I think that's a PR (at this bw at least).
Heading out tomorrow after some deadlifts! I'll try my best to be brave! lol.
Ah, to be young and naive. haha.
I would, but after talking to E, they're going to be out of town while I'm there. It's possible that I may be able to drop over there on Thursday if they're still in town. He said I could still get a session in @SSB. He and Kelsae are good people .

So I think I'm leaning toward doing Sheiko again when I get back from vacation. I entered my max into the spreadsheet and took the deadlift day from 29 on week 4 and rocked that out for my sumo's today. Lots of volume and I was fried after that. Decided to hit some lighter pulling movements to finish it off.
Last workout before my plane takes off @ 7:50 tonight. Oh boy! Thanks, man. I have to admit, I was pretty surprised at my endurance lol.*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

Thanks, bro. Limo should be here soon! It was actually cheaper than a taxi. Winning .
It felt good .
My fluff today and yesterday came out "gloopy". It was really off and did not satisfy lol. I tried it with just casein, xantham, water and crushed ice. I don't know where I went wrong. I currently have Aro Black from vitacost. My mom surprised me with 4, 4lb tubs one day! I was stoked lol.*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

Update
Well, I am currently sitting at the airport for the SECOND day in a row waiting for my plane. We had delay after delay after delay last night, until finally we were canceled four hours after our scheduled departure time. I was so annoyed. They wouldn't allow my access to my check bag (which had all my protein powder, oatmeal packets, and protein bars mind you), so needless to say I was a little fumed. They did not offer to cover a hotel stay for us, however, they offered us a "discount" at the Hilton O'hare. It was a nice discounted rate of $319 a night. wtf. You've got to be kidding me! So we ended up taking a shuttle (which was almost an hour late) to Northbrook, which had a nice Crowne Plaza nestled in the middle of NOWHERE. No grocery stores. No gas stations. Nothing. We had no food, so they informed us that the bar was open till 1 (it was a little past midnight at this point). We got to the bar and asked to see a menu. "I'm sorry, sir, the kitchen is closed. We had 2 ham sandwiches and 2 turkey sandwiches left over." We gladly accepted these because both my mother and I were ravenous. They cost us $24! What a fricking rip. Despite being a little less than fresh, it certainly hit the spot. So, here we finally are, at nearly 2pm the next day, sitting, waiting to board. Instead of a nonstop flight like we originally had, they booked us on a flight that has a layover in Newark, NJ. That's 2 hours in the wrog direction! WTF. My first flight experience has not been a pleasant one thus far. By the time you're reading this, I will have already taken to the air, filled with rage, ready to burst. I have eaten nothing but an egg white omellette, some fruit and cereal at breakfast, and two protein bars I got at the hotel's gift shop lol. This SUCKS .
Update after flying
So, flying is..... AWESOME. I absolutely love it! I was not scared at all, and depsite having Thor 2 on my TV, I was looking out the window most of the time (yes, I was brave and decided to take a window seat). If it wasn't for all the waiting in the airports, I would much rather fly than drive.
Now, I'm just waiting on my bag... apparently it's coming in on a flight from Chicago today. I have been wearing the same clothes for 3 days and haven't had a proper shower lol. I'm going to shower now and throw on a cheap dago I bought from Walmart last night when I stopped for some oatmeal, eggs and spinach lol.*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

Sounds like an awful flying experience lol - It's not always this bad but airports do suck. So expensive and nothing is ever on time. Enjoy Florida!

Well, guys. I am currently sitting in the hotel waiting for my Mom to get moving so we can head to Sarasota. I'm going to hit up Sarasota Barbell and get a deload workout in . I might even catch Eric and Kelsea before they head out. My cousin tricked me into believing that we were staying 30 minutes fro Sarasota when in actuality it is closer to an hour and a half . Either way, I'm getting a quick session in; I will probably just hit some light pause squats and bench (I only brought a pair of chucks). I excite . I certainly did.
It poured here for a while yesterday. Then it was sunny. Then it poured again. Love that Florida weather .
All in all it wasn't too bad. I would fly if it was just like getting on the bus and going. Once the plane takes off, it's quick.*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

5-30-14
I woke up this morning to discover that we were 90 minutes from Sarasota. My cousin informed me that it was roughly a 30 minute drive, and like a dumbass, I took his word for it. Oh well. I still made the trip and stopped at SBB. I got a nice little deload workout in and finally got to meet Eric and Kelsea; they're stand up people. I am very grateful to finally have had the opportunity to meet them.
Workout wise, I took it really easy and just kind of winged it. I worked up to a couple sets of 205 for triples on paused squat, and to be quite honest, it felt pretty heavy lol. I don't know what the deal was, but it's whatever. Then I tried out their new hack squat/leg press combo for a couple light sets. Moved on to db rows with the 80's, worked up to a couple sets of DB bench with the 90's, hit a few sets of pull ups, did some light laterals, a couple sets of seated db press with the 55's and 3 sets of close grip bench with 185. It was a nice little workout, and despite the level of intensity, I was dripping sweat from the Florida heat. Feltgoodjohngoodman .
We hit up a beach on the way home just to get a little sun and enjoy the atmosphere. It was quite relaxing.
I need to head to the grocery store to grab something for breakfast and lunch tomorrow. We'll be spending the day with the realtor looking at houses, so I want to make sure we have some fuel.
So far, vacation has been both productive and fun, but I'm anxious to get back to some real training so I can get my gainz on. Just drinks. I ate a protein bar on the flight lol.

Well now you see how futile all that 'worrying' was pre first flight.
I'm glad you enjoyed your first flight.
I would have been so nervous if I was delayed like you were on my first flight...LOL!
Now can I tell you what happened to a DC 10 six months before my first plane flight to Hawaii on a DC 10?She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

Yo guys! So it's currenly 9:15 pm on Sunday, June 1st. I'm chilling at the hotel watching some tv with my momma lol. We're getting up fairly early tomorrow to grab some breakfast and drop off the car at the rental place before we catch our flight back to Chicago.
So, vacation recap time! Overall, it was both a productive and relaxing trip. We got out to a couple beaches (siesta key and fort myers), did plenty of swimming, had some good eats, I got a lift in at SBB, and we checked out 4 or 5 houses. Pretty cool stuff!
As far as training goes, I only got the one deload session in at SBB. I did not push it at all, and not a single fuk was given. I was just happy to take some time away from the grind and spend it with some family and friends. Anyway, back to the training plan when I come back... I did some thinking, and I am a bodybuilder first and a strength athlete second. With that said, I am coming back to training running PHUL, which is similar in many aspects to PHAT, just with lowered volume. My focus , as always, will be on the big three using progressive overload. I was debating running sheiko again or giving the cube method a go, but I feel this will benefit me most as I am only about 4-5 months away from starting prep. I believe this style of training will yield a bit more hypertrophy than a pure strength program.
Anyway, I am going to lay in bed and digest the key lime pie I inhaled at dinner. I'll be back soon . Haha. You can tell me the story when I get back. I still have two more take offs and landings tomorrow .
It went by far too quickly, but I'll be glad to get back home and back to the grind.
That's nothing, you should see his upper back.Last edited by Bnizzle163; 06-01-2014 at 06:26 PM. Reason: major typo lol

Yeah, both he and Kelsea are good people. The gym is sick!
I need to work hard these last few months to bring the nasty .
It was yummy! I'm excited for prep .
I only had one flare up/bad day this whole vacation. So, it's better, but still not 100%. I don't know if it ever will be :/*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*
