Didn't watch. No deadlift in thread title. First thing I see is some @sshole with his shirt off and a hat on like a dumbass. He is not correct.

Only valid point is that multiply squats are losing credibility. Feel bad for the people that hit depth there

watching him shout and act like a complete tool while getting psyched up for his warm up sets is bad enough. never in my life have i seen someone get so excited to pull 60%
now we have to watch him talk about powerlifting and what needs to change for it to go mainstream?

Big Sexy J
Pete Rubish (I forgot his bb.com username)
Head to head at 220 or 242. Possibly at the same meet (Clash for Cash 2013) I will be laying the smack down on dan_g_28. We are same age, same weight class(es), very similar totals.

At first I was all "who the **** is pete rubish" so I googled him and found out that
"Pete Rubish is a rising star in the power lifting world and is an internet sensation due to his intense style of lifting. Pete's favorite supplements are USPlabs Jack3d (he always makes sure to take this before a big lift) and also Modern BCAA (he drinks this during his workouts to help him recover faster). Keep up the amazing work Pete you're a freak and a beast!"
Now I'm all like, "I better pay attention to what this freak beast has to say."

^^ this. I don't understand the notion that multi ply squats are not credible because the amount of high squats that are being passed by certain feds/judges. Why aren't we saying stuff like "raw squats are losing credibility" when there are multiple high raw squats that are being passed at certain meets?

pepper your angus for negs.
it has it's place and a lot of the guys are incredibly skilled. learning gear takes a tremendous amount of skill, patience, pain tolerance, money, time, etc.
Just because some *******s squat high doesn't mean you hate on everyone who lifts in gear. Some feds still operate with integrity.

My point is simply...
What's marketable?
deep squats, raw lifting, and shredded physiques (truth)****I never check my control panel.

This dude Pete Rubish looks like crap. Comes off like a total bro, too.
I would rather listen to Eric Lilliebridge or George Leeman talk about this stuff... Hell, even Hickson lol.

if he fixed his squat form and cut his squats a little higher he could squat 700 in a week.
