I had a big boneless rib eye with blue cheese dressing and melted butter on top. Today is day 6 and i'm still going strong. 4 more days and it's carb heaven time. I can't wait to destroy a whole pumpkin pie lol.

I'm going to aim just for 350g of carbs and see how that goes for a week and increase it as needed. I know Thom gave me a plan in terms on increasing the carbs on a weekly basis. I'm just happy i'm sticking the prep phase out. Whether or not I'm losing weight is whatever lol.

Yea i'll see how things go with that as well.
I do also but at the same time i'm willing to experiement with a nutrition protocol to see if it works. Based on the anecdotal testimonies from vets on this board and elite powerlifters, it's enough for me to try it out. It's just a matter of spacing your macro intake out and around the most optimal timing.
I'm sure going from no carbs for 10 days straight to 350g in one day is going to have me knocked the fuk out lol.My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

I am dot even doing the prep phase and have lost 3lbs in 2 days. I know it's basically water weight, but if I did the 10 day prep phase I would vanish into thin air haha.

Shouldn't he be depleted at this point regardless? But yeah, don't cut it short. You'll always wonder if your results could've been better by sticking it out and I doubt you wanna do it over from the beginning. Do your 10 days and then you know you're giving the diet the best possible chance to work. Did you lose some weight now?

if I do a prep phase I'll do like 5-8 days and time it so I do my first CBL on Christmas hahaha.
edit: considering I am already on day 2 of minimal carbs(had a banana after my workout this morning) I might as well just try going a few extra days.
I can't see me going 10 days. But doing 5-6 days is probably doable haha.Last edited by Filmbuff81; 11-07-2012 at 03:25 PM.
