    Look for trends over a few days instead of day to day. My weight fluctuates alot too, depending on what I ate, if I took a dump, water retention, etc.

    So I had the day off so I went to work out just now. I'm on flat bench and this guy on the next bench comes over and he's like .."do you want to try something different today...my workout will make you strong after a few days...you should do something different than what you are doing now and get strong."

    I'm already thinking this is not going to be good. I'm like "Nah, I think I'm doing pretty good with my workouts."

    He's my size, and I'm watching him to see what he's going to do. He's doing partials...or what I think are partials of partials cause the range of motion is literally an elbow bend and straighten...maybe 1inch at most. But he's got like 5 plates on each side doing this. I'm so glad I said No cause I'm not spotting stupid stuff like that that can get me hurt spotting someone.

    But as expected, when I see him dropping the weight down to 185lb to try to do real reps, he can't even lower the bar to his chest and do reps cause he only works the upper range of motion.

    I have seem some ppl doing this loading heavy weight and do partial of a partial reps. This cheating reps suppose to help them increase some strength but they only do it once in a while not every session.
    If motivation comes in a liquid form, it would be dripping off my fingers tips.

    A gym I used to go to, there was this skinny jackass. He would always load up as may plates as he can, whether he's doing bench or leg press. He'll do partial reps and yell as loud as he can. Very annoying. I always wonder if he could lift half the weight at full range. He'll probably just cramp up and yell about it too.

    Reminds me of this manlet who's even shorter than Evo like 4'8 and all he does is 1 inch on everything at my gym. Bench, Back Nautilus machines, etc. Everything is 1inch. He looks like he's in a good shape but I'm sure he's going to stay that way if he keeps it up.
