Oh I had one of those a couple weeks ago. Their leader asked me how many sets I had left in the power rack, I said 7 since I needed it for a couple things and if I would've let that group jump in I would've had to wait 3 months to complete my workout, lol.
Probably someone on a cut AND a deload, just sayin'.
I hate that the top bars atract the pull up crew, why can't the gym just install spikes on those cross bars? lol

Ham, you always make me smile!! Thanks for that
Really?? No diet Mountain Dew, huh?? Yeah, I've been screwed a few times by Canada myself
So here's a funny story....I drove up to Vancouver BC this past fall and it took forever to cross customs into Canada from the US. All of these questions "What are you doing here?" "When are you returning?" "Are you transporting any weapons?" blahblahblah. On my way home, I ate an apple and the core was sitting in my front seat when I drove through customs. I stopped at the booth and the US agent asked me one question "Are you bringing any fruit back into the country?" (What????) I'm like "well, I have this apple core" and he says "OK, you can keep that. Have a good day." Boy, I've never felt safer in my life...........yikes
It's not that bad!! Haha! Makes me want to watch that movie now!!Caring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

I'm not much of a girlie girl. I literally have one dress hanging in my closet. I don't walk, talk or dress foffie at all. I was a jock when it wasn't all that cool to be a girl that played sports. But sports taught me a lot of life lessons and a lot about myself. Sports made me a better person. When I look in the mirror at the gym I'm proud to see my messed up hair, my sweaty face, my muscles pumped up and my veins popping. The jock in me has never gone away.....and I'm really glad. She's one of the best things about me

That jock post alone is almost worth repping.
Me, I'm just a huge nerd. And that part has never gone away. I may find a way to incorporate a pocket protector with my singlet.New log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=144101461

I go to the gym at 5:30am.
Yesterday one of my (newer) buddies says to me "So why did you fix your hair if you were just going to put it in a ponytail?".
bertstare
"your hair? it was down and fixed earlier..."
bert. stare.
Ummm...I got out of bed and brushed it.
"Oh. Well it looked good. "
Then I went off...lol. Just started spouting that I was offended that he thought I "got ready" to come in there...there wasn't that much "meat" to look at and try and look all done up for anyway(which offended his punk ass)...and if I ever have make-up on it's because I passed out before washing my face...I wasn't one of those crazy ladies that go in with full face make-up and my hair flat-ironed...
I think he was sorry he said anything. lulzMy Journal

Thanks H! You were the one that really encouraged me to start one. Glad I did. It actually motivates me to work harder in the gym.
Almost??? *noodz in your PM box. Swoosh awaits little green dot*
Boys I admire your early a.m. workouts. I use to workout at 5:30 a.m. for some unknown reason, but my lifts weren't nearly as good as they are after a day of da foodz plus swoosh's butt doesn't like to get up early.
Your back really is shredded!
Oh yea!!! Well, you have been retreating and all. I soooo wanted you over here but I didn't want to go into your journal and be all "Hey, Kim look at me!" "Hey, Kim over here!" *waves & jumps up and down*
Really looking forward to your input

Nice workout Swoosh!
LOL, I thought I had the wrong contacts in! It's really cool to see people who aren't all in their 20s and 30s making such progress and sporting such jacked avi's. SRS, I hope I am healthy and motivated enough to continue with sports for many years to come like that. I am always amazed what poor shape some of my friends are in who are only like 30, good diet and exercise ftw!

Thanks, Hammie!
It really is great. My old hottie trainer use to tell me that he had clients that would point out my back in the gym and say "I want a back like that!" then I would turn around and they'd do this...... Haha! My back/your head
I think pull-up handles in the middle of the cable machine is a stupid idea. They have those in my gym too, but if someone is pull-upin no one can be cable-un idontthinkgymdesignersactuallyworkout.jpg
Thank you, N! Happy Friday to you too....this week flew by!
OMG, where did they end up???

It IS a stupid idea. Those of us who are 5'6" need to bring one of those box steps over just to get up there, lulz, embarassing as hell. I take over one of the assisted pull up stations and get rid of the assistance pad thing so I can do regular pullups. I'm sure it pisses off the people who need the assisted thing, but whatever, I have no control over my t-rex arms.
