What does ease have to do with anything? Do you plan on quitting early? All that matters is the end game, and in the end the bigger guy will be stronger. I hate when taller people pull the "short guys have it easy" card. Not saying you are right now, it's just annoying.

6'2 200lbs is comparable to someone who is like 5'7 and only 170 or so.
Being tall adds weight without being beneficial to the lift, which is why you almost always see only short people brag about how much they weigh when completing some lift. A 6'2 180 lbs guy doing 315 is much more impressive than a 5'6 170lb guy.
Just got 225x5 today so I'm benching ~265 or so, hoping to get 300 when I hit 200lbs and don't think I will hit 3 plates till next winter\:

Everything you said here is stupid and incorrect. There is no linear correlation between your weight and what you bench. Also breaking 400 puts a lot of stress on your body that 300 doesn't, so while I agree 315 isn't a big deal, hitting 400+ is and its maybe 1% of gym rats that will ever do it naturally.

i could put up 2 plates in high school and i wasn't even a heavy lifter back then. with a decent base i'm sure you could get to 3 plates in a year or two natty easily.

College FB ruined me with comparing lifting stats in a reg gym now. In College, most guys did 225 for atleast 14-20 reps and got up over 400 regularly, some of the islanders could hit close to 500 pounds.
best i could do was 225 for 16 and 360 1 rep max.
Now i go into my reg gym and rarely see anyone going above 225. Most people are barely hitting 135 and it seems like they are scared to push themselves or struggle.I rape back
