My friends think squattin 3x a week is a lot and unnecessary. ifonlytheyknew.jp
Thing is, i only squat 250 for 3x5 and its the most out of every kid i see at the gym, except my football player friend, he squats like 400.
Most dont even squat, dont know **** about strength training, and really piss me off.
Can anyone actually have an intellectual conversation about lifting with their friends?
Wish more miscers went to my school.

me and my friends all train together. group of strong fukkers too.
find friends that already like to lift or train your friends."on the bech press i usually start off with 205 doing it 5 times then once i ad my usual extra 5 pounds on i can barely do it twice. How can i increase my chest cardio? so i can rep heavy weight easier" -dc1992hp
come by and check out my log. I'm racing to a 275x5 bench and 185x3 strict press with comps.

yes! 1 friend benches 5 times a week and is 5'8 145 pounds. another friend is a bicepwarrior. another friend is like 130ish pounds with an 8 pack and only trains abs 7 days a week. another friend denied all of my advice and wants to stick with insanity, he's 140 pounds and 5'7ish and wants to LOSE weight and get "shredded". another friend has an actually decent routine, but he doesnt like eating so he eats around 2000 calories a day everyday and maintains 130ish pounds. and finally, i have a friend that says he can bench 225x5, but he can squat 100(forgot exact number but around there) and dl 135.

The thing is, i try to have conversations with my school mates at the gym, but they dont lift heavy weights.
The most aesthetic kid in my grade (who actually looks good no homo) benches like 155, squats like 175, deadlifts 275, told me to do more isolation for my arms, i just ignore people now and do my own thing. After another 4 or 5 months of lifting, we will see who has been doing it right

Yes....you have no idea..
Dad: When you stop taking protein shakes you get bloated.
Me: Are you serious?
Dad: see like now you are just bloated not hard muscles.
Me: smh...andd i walk away.
Sister also once told me age doesn't matter and was comparing me to her friend whos 24 years old.
She says im not big compared to him,
i said im 17.
She said doesn't matter.
I said, AGE MATTERS.
She goes, "No it doesnt"
Smh, i just get mad.

I got one for you, these kids are not really my friends, they were just on my sports team 2 years ago. They said this on ********:
Noob friend 1: Man this weightlifting program is insane
Noob friend 2: What weightlifting program?
Noob friend 1: Our college sports team, they have a weightlifting program
Noob friend 1: Ya man alot of kids have already gained 15-20lbs in the first 3 weeks of the program. Its insane though.
Noob friend 2: Ya man thats insane, i did that last year gained like 20lbs in a month. I was drinking alot of protein shakes and taking vitamins
Noob friend 1; Man thats dumb, in order to gain muscle you only need the protein shakes and not the vitamins. Thats how i gained 20lbs in 3 weeks. Just keep it simple
Noob friend 3: Ya you guys are lucky. You are getting noob gains. I myself gained like 25lbs in 1 month, after that i was only gaining like 10lbs a month. It sucks
NO LIE, copied and pasted this from what 3 kids were talking about on ********
What a joke. This made me laugh, but also pissed me off, a bit. Kids are so stupid

my non lifter friends are completely clueless
"It's really unhealthy to get 200g protein a day, its not natural to do that and you'd have to use artifical protein to get it. That stuff kills your kidneys"

Friend=tard
My buddy and I were at work and he asked me what I was on. I told him everything I'm taking including my amino acids(pills cuz I don't want to drink two shakes) and he said what are those for? I said they help with recovery and I told him I'm not as sore after workouts as I used to. He said he wouldn't want to take those because he likes feeling sore the next day. He then tried to tell me soresness=growth..and he told me not to tell him he was wrong because he took anatomy already

the amount of friends and family i try to help and educate that lift and want to get fit don't listen to half the crap i say and believe in no carbs after 6pm, meal timing is relevant, if you remove carbs from your diet no matter how many calories you intake, you will still lose weight. think 3x5 is a waste of time and completely useless...the amount of **** i hear is unbelievable. my dad came upto me the other day and said "you know why you aren't gaining weight? because you don't eat breakfast. 60% of your calorie intake should be at breakfast" i just sighed and walked off, no matter how many internet sources i show people nobody believes what im saying and they believe in all the broscience.

You sir are wrong. Abs can be worked out everyday no problem, only need 24 hours of rest maybe even less, my cousin is currently doing a routine or ONLY his abs that takes 1 hour and does it a day, and I can assure you his abs are probably better than anyone's abs on this misc, not flamin, just sayin

well i started at 98lbs and since i started 4 months ago i put on a 12lbs of lean mass, i'm still under 10% bf. so before you judge someone, think because you don't know the **** i've been through. got sick twice since i started and lost basically all of my gains both times. 1 week with alcohol poisoning, all i ate the whole week was 1 slice of toast, i lost 12lbs. i may be 109 lbs, but i know about nutrition and lifting.

-1 tub of lard fat 240 lb. kid who lies about the weight he can lift and calls himself "strong" and thinks he's "buff".. he's 240, and squatting 185 is a push for him, not even going parallel, at 35% bf+. Also, he's a bicep warrior and loves to out-barbell curl everyone in the gym by screaming and doing super fast reps. Also, When it's chest day, and he's been telling me about how much stronger he's gotten and can bench 225x10 easy, and we get to the bench, and we start at 185 at the **** hits his chest harder than hitting the ground as you fall into the depths of hell, he claims he's "sore". Horrible genetics as well, yet claims to be the most genetically gifted god around.
- 1 gentically gifted, yet fat friend who curls himself to death and claims he benches 205 when i saw him attemtpt it, and the bar literally moved down 1.5 inches, and back up, he was so proud of himself. Without ever working out, he had 15 inch arms, yet high body fat, but extremeley short and super broad shoulders, never works legs, never listens to advice, loves listening to broscience in the gym. Talks too much." Gain Power fiercely, and righteously, Let it be done, Let it be done with speed." - King Darius the Great Of Persia
