Just posted this in the Nutrition forum might as well do the same here.
You all should check out Muscular Development magazine and specifically this month's issue.
I was rolling. They are beginning to say meal frequency doesnt matter. Two or three instances where they hinted this. They also showed a study where those on calorie restricted diets and who consumed majority of cals/CHO towards the end of their day showed more overall fat loss (read the article for details - the subjects used I think could be questioned though).
Jason Huh (IFBB pro) revealed that he trains fasted a couple times per week - go figure.BRAINS & GAINS

I need to start getting that mag again. I evolved from Shape, to Women's Health, to Men's Health, to Muscular Development... and then the 'rents were like WTFISDAT. So I stopped buying haha.

IMO -it's the best mag in terms of their nutrition and training sections as they at least discuss/reference the most current research. Norton has a running column in the mag too which is pretty decent.BRAINS & GAINS

would anyone like to figure out my maintenance cals for me? I'm about 200lbs right now. workout 5-6 days a week, high volume, usually cardio at the end, 20-30 mins. other than that my activity is usually house hold chores.

ye the magazines are getting better with their info.The other morning i was in a bookstore and started looking at the nutrition section.Picked up mens health dieting strategies thinking here we go. But i was surprised to see pizza,chocolate recipes,recipes with lots of fruits.I was like wtf happened in the past few months.saw one mans name all over the pages that i thought were revolutionary. Alan Aragon. what a fricking hero. It still had 6 meal a day meal plans but i distinctly remember there being no mention that it was better for metabolism. I was stoked to see that.
The world is changing thank god.

ah Kratos,you dont have shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit on Manu.that comparison pic was scary close to what manu looks like though. You see why i thought you were looking like a Tekken or Streetfighter character. Its insane dude. I would have thought by looking at you that you were on cell-tech but wow does it motivate me to know that if i kill it,enjoy my foods every day , i can achieve something even remotely like you in the years to come.

Thats for you to decide. If you have adjusted to the 16/8 schedule and feel fine mentally/physically then can go "all out" now. By "all out", I assume you mean in terms of training.

No worries! I get the juicing comment every now and then...all good! I enjoy it and thrive off of it. I take it as a compliment and know that I must be doing something right. I think once I stop receiving the comment that means I need to work harder!
I really cant win either way. I wont call out any names but I get messages just about weekly on this site from juicers who say I am stupid for not juicing! That I could be 30lbs heavier and be just as lean. I dont give a flying fuk!!!!!!! Lol.
A bigger pet peeve of mine is the genetics comment - "If I had your genetics I would look like you." Yeah. Sure you would.
You can achieve what you want but that can only be decided by you. As I said so many times not only in this journal but my previous one - the mind is everything. How mentally strong are you? How driven are you? How determined are you? Only you can answer that
At the end of the day there is no substitute for hard work. Hard work always yields results.

Red Meats FTW! Your appetite's growing bigger, Manu. I remember reading that you could finally feel "somewhat full," after your 3,4 meals, that post was months ago.
Now, now. Gotta increase the portions of the meals cuz you're bigger and leaner
You think you'll ever have to combine any of your current meals? LOL, that'd be epic, 3k in 20 mins. DONE
^definitely gonna check it out. Would suggest some co-workers to start reading too, that'd present some broscience to further spread in our gym. lolIIFYM - Try to get most of your macros from whole foods. They are high in micronutrients and are needed to maintain overall health

I can do my Meal #1 which is about 2,000cals in about 10min Thats though cause Im totally depleted. So my body literally acts like a sponge.
