    His legs are sticks.

I'd rather keep mine and Squat for less reps, thanks.

you guys are complete idiots. the guy is doing 100+ reps of squats with perfect form. he might have small legs but I doubt any of you punks can do that. it's not like he's doing it without weight on there....he has 135 pounds.

Yes; he has a lot of muscular endurance. Crazy amounts, in fact.

The fact is, I want to be strong and big; not have tons of endurance and be small. So I will stick with heavy weights and low reps, thanks.

maybe because it gets you in shape? strength isn't measured by weight. it's measured by heart and determination. I bet none of you wussies could even do 50 reps without crying like a little girl.

No, I'm pretty sure the best measurement of strength is how much weight you are able to move....

    are you really 30?

and also whats the point of doing so many reps if you are going to have a pause between every single rep. that would defeat the purpose
    180 Bench
    290 Squat
    300 Deadlift
    160 Clean

Im a wrestler, not a bodybuilder.

Dont make fun of me for being 130, make fun of me for being short

Cool that maybe ligth for some people, maybe it was heavy for him. Still a 100 rep squats takes guts. I forgot about that, nice to shock the muscles besides 20 rep squats.
Distraction is an obstruction for the construction.

why would anyone need to squat 100 times, that has no practical use whatsoever.
impressive? i guess, but you wont see me wasting that kind of time.

because doing 100 reps once in a while builds your legs up. when you are doing a set of 315 pounds for 20 reps, by the 10th or 11th rep you'll probably be GASSED. doing this kind of workout pushes you harder and further along...

the more you shock your muscles, the more growth....PERIOD.

the more you shock your muscles, the more growth....PERIOD.
And this, children, is why that lifter's legs are MASSIVE and BULGING with ENORMOUS MUSCLES!!!

Get your facts straight, son. That's not strength or anything approaching growth; that's endurance.

1 rep with 3 second break with almost no weight=endless squating session if you even have slightly decent cardio

that type of workout keeps you in the oxidative state and not in the atp/pcr state which is used when maxing out. so no he could not out lift me and yes i could do what he can
    Time for a comeback

    Lolwut?
You get big legs by squatting big weight. Squatting big weight = utilizing your leg muscles.
Show me somebody who got big legs by squatting 135lbs for 100 reps..? Oh, you can't? Didn't think so son.

And before you blabber on about "so what if you have big legs" blah blah, take a look at the website URL... www.bodybuilding.com

My lifting partner and I went through half a deck of cards (each one drawn being a set) on leg day a short while back just for the sake of mixing things up - it ended up being around 150 reps. After card 26 we called it quits and I couldn't help thinking that it was possibly the dumbest workout I had ever completed.
