thanks dude.
i would suggest everyone get checked out if there are lumps down there. if it's nothing then your fine. but if there's a problem you NEED to get it taken care of asap. i just don't want anyone to have cancer that spreads b/c they procrastinated.
i really do appreciate all the support too. i have the family/friends who know about it that are keeping me supported but i really appreciate the uplifting comments i've received from you guys the past 2 days. nobody has been a dick or anything.
thanks again.

Anyone else that has a lump they're too scared to get checked out, man up and go to the doctor. It took me one day after i found a lump to race frantically to the doctor. Nothing to be embarassed about. I got lucky and only had a cyst though, but it certainly freaked me out and i'm still quite paranoid about it. Better to be safe than sorry though.
OP, good luck with the recovery process. Stay strong!Horror movie thread

even if you do feel a lump, there's a chance it's a cyst. I found a lump on my testicles when I was like 14-16...
It was REAL obvious, but if I never felt my testicles I would have never found it. It was the size of a BB.
I think the doc said that if it's "on the outside" then it's a cyst... but if it's deeper like a pimple, then it is a tumor? dunno

if it's been 3-4 years it's prolly nothing. i still would recommend getting it checked out.
wouldn't u rather lose 1 or 2 of your nuts and be fine then keep your nuts and have cancer spread throughout your entire body? i didn't really think anyone would be against that.
if it was cancer/a tumor it would have spread in a few months (that's what the doc told me). 3-4 years and you would have been coughing up blood a while back. so i'm sure there's nothing wrong with you.

there is a chance it can make u sterile, but not likely. i still need to get my sperm tested now that im cancer free. i had it frozen b4 i started chemo btw.
i had no lumps, just painless swelling in my right nut.
lol yea i felt like i was in my thread for a second.
if u have to have chemo like me, u'll have a portacath (permanent IV) inserted underneath ur collar bone. it will stay there for the duration of ur chemo, and for months after it. im getting mine taking out in like 6 months. sucks big time, u cant lift until its out.
100% wrong blacks almost never get testicular cancer.
yea i remember that jockstrap. when u take it off after a week, ur sack is a shriveled up mess. it looks quite pathetic, but it looks better after a few months. ull know wut i mean.
good luck op. after i had my nut removed, i had another c t scan and was told i needed 3 cycles of BEP chemo since i had stage 2 cancer and it spread to my lower back(i had lower back pain a month b4 i found out i had cancer, little did in o that was the cancer spreading). worst time of my life, but i got through it, and now, 2 weeks later, im cancer free and loving life and its only going to get better. i want my hair back! tho its nice i havent had to shave since i started chemo jan 25.

i just got back from the doctor's with not so great news.
apparently this type of cancer isn't effectively treated with radiation so my 3 choices are watch and wait, chemo or major surgury (to remove potential cancer cells).
the cancer hasn't spread anywhere so i'm waiting back to hear on blood test results next week whether it shows signs of potential cancer cells.
i really don't wanna have to go through chemo (he said it would be 2-3 sessions) and would rather watch and wait and go back every 3 months for a year. but if my blood tests show results of potential cancer i'm gonna have to go through chemo.
thought i was gonna get a break but guess not. hopefully **** turns out good next week.
