How do you handle tailgaters?

Depends.

1. If I'm in the passing lanes and there's no other free passing lanes I will get over and just let them speed on.
2. If there are still 2-3 passing lanes they can ride my tail all day. While I can get over, they can just as easily pass.
3. They're riding my tail in the far right lane with multiple passing lanes, I'll just cruise until they get frustrated.
4. Small roads with only one lane on each side. Tough luck, I'm not moving. I had a guy aggressively ride my tail then flip me off as he passed. Lifted RAM drivers always give off microcawk energy, srs.

If I get pissed off enough on the small roads I'll get over brake, then get behind them just as soon as they pass. It has been a really effective tactic because not only does it startle them, but the roles are now reversed so they can either speed up or go slow. Most will just speed up and move on. One lady got spooked even know she was on my tail, we ended up stopping at the same truck stop and she didn't get out of her car. Typical aggressor acting like a victim.

True-dat. If in the left lane, I'm always willing to step aside and let someone else risk the speeding ticket. I move over at the next opportunity and follow them at the same speed not closer than 50 yards behind.

If they are behind me I don't brake check but do take my foot off the accelerator to slow down 5-10mph slower until they pass. Then, if in the right mood and I'm not outnumbered, I pull up to them at the next light, roll all four of my windows down and relax my left arm out the window and casually look over and nod my head.

I use to always brake check people then roll down my window and flick them off and yell at them but lately I am a lot more chillax, if I am annoyed enough I will just slow down and smile and wave if they pass or let them by if possible but usually just try to ignore them or turn my mirror so they are out of sight and mind so they dont ruin my vibe.

True but the odds are that is not the case and said person is just in a hurry to do something unimportant (well I guess everything is more important than what other people are doing when you have main character syndrome) and they actually have the audacity to put your vehicle, life and peace of mind in jeopardy over it.

The other morning I went for a little casual cruise around town to listen to podcast and enjoy my coffee and the amount of angry people that tailgated me for just going a couple mph under the speed limit is unbelievable. One person passed me on a single lane road when they coulda turned off to another road to get to the same destination not any slower and they made a point to cut within inches of my vehicle to let me know they were mad so I smiled and waved.

Look I know you probably want to get to work, or to daycare or to get your starbucks or whatever other crap but none of that is my responsibility. If your life is so unmanageable you need to speed all the time maybe you need to reevaluate your life, and definitely dont be getting knocked up or knockin anyone else up anymore.

You're from the UK so I'll give you a pass on being an idiot. But here in the U.S. you cannot impede the flow of traffic, even if that traffic is going illegal speeds. Additionally, left lane is for passing only.

Last week I enter the interstate driving to work. Some service van is in the left lane a few car lengths ahead, and he has set up shop in that lane. Zero people as far as the eye can see in front of us. Some Subaru (lol @ Subaru cucks) comes flying in behind him and starts riding his ass. Van brake checks him causing Subaru guy to lock them up. Suddenly the Subaru slings into the right lane gets side by side to the van and side swipes him hard and then floors it never to be seen again.

Van brah was a dumb ass for just staying in the fast lane, but damn!!! I was like it's phooking Tuesday brahs, chill out. Lol, I was like lol.

I do a tripple brake tap just to flash my brake lights, try to let them know theyre too close. Usually it works. If not i'll just chill and get out of their way when i get the chance.

This is how I handle it unless they really piss me off. Then I slow down and speed up when they pass. Not enough to not let them pass but enough to make it harder.

Right lane only. No way I'm doing this in left lane.
