Do I have to be in law enforcement to post here? Just wondering if you would share one of your craziest experiences on the force.

I’ve been hanging on, life caught up with me. How you been? My plans sidetracked a bit. Received an offer a year ago and didn’t follow through. I regret it and I don’t if that makes any sense. This current neutered policing really was my deciding factor. I could no longer justify the paycut and risk of being crucified doing the job. Doesn’t make sense anymore for me at least. The respect is gone, there’s no protections, and being personally liable for anything that happens at work just really changed my mind.

I have Crohn's too. I plan to get in 2-3 years on patrol while also finishing my 2nd degree in biology and I'm getting my cert in cybersecurity. I hope you don't have any more flares. I'm fine for now and not on any meds, but I'm hoping that by the time I do have flares again that I'll have all my schooling knocked out so I can transition to a desk if necessary and not lose any money.

LEO brahs, I received a speeding citation which I full admitted and took responsibility for as it was right in front of the cops eyes... I fully support and respect the police and I don't have the nerve to act/play dumb as it's insulting to the officer.
Is there anything I can say or request the officer/court to do to change the charge to something with a fine and no points? I am willing to do anything or pay any fine, but don't want my insurance to go up. Traffic school is a no go.

I gained some weight in the midsection due to the pandemic and not lifting much over the last year. I even had to get new patrol pants
I’m considering buying a new duty belt cause the Bianchi Accumold chit sucks and I maxed out the current size
I was looking into this newer brand but there’s hardly any reviews

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

I've tried all the newest cool things over the years.
I went back to standard blauer inner velcro with the two metal prongs that grip the punched holes.
Stay in the 2" range and dont wear it tightly.
When you do, it strains your IT bands and upper glutes. Throws everything out of wack.
No matter what brand you chose, do above and it includes your inner belt.
If you do like jest and wear an over the shoulder rig. Never stop lifting or you're going to look like the hunch back of Notre dameHomerotic Modulator, Envious of Idiocy

Straya lads
How was your experience at Goulburn for those in NSW, Australia? I know it's like a 6month practical and 6month online due to COVID and such but is it as grueling as I believe it to be?
Also there's a show on youtube called RECRUITS, how accurate is that to what they do in the academy right now?if you need someone to chat with, don't hesitate to shoot me a PM.
