Hey!! Thanks!! I am going to try everything not to have to cut cals drastically this time. I've been know to pull the Lyle McDonald Rapid Fat Loss 'special' because I'm impatient. LOL Not this time
AM Weight:
169.9
Training:
Upper Power A
Flat Bench Press
105 x 4, 4, 4
DB Row
30s x 6, 4, 4
Barbell Curl
55 x 4, 4, 4 (PR for reps)
Close Grip Bench
3 lighters pump sets. Nothing special.
DB Shrugs

Macros:
131/112/58 1495
Scrawl:
Time to clean up the refeed days and add in some cardio. Been feeling damn good lately and I need to step it up a notch!
My hip and back are pooched ... as usual. I may have to reduce some sets/frequency for my back lifts which is super annoying... we shall see.
I've also had to tread lightly for squats .. which is also annoying - but required. Get er dun!

Keep that SQUEEZE going!
And yeah, you need to walk a fine line on those calories. Cut enough, but not too much. I'm a big fan of trial and error (primarily because that's all I got!) But you want to keep feeling good while the weight comes off, and drastic cutting won't do that.“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”

Rob's pretty brutal with all this accountability 'n sh*t. Glad its you and not me, yet.
I expected to see a lot of work and heavy weights when I came here (I'm not disappointed) but I did not expect the home gym nor bonding time with the step daughter. Both of those, unto their own, are amazing. Nice to see you getting some perks out of exercising.
And much respect to your strength levels.

Thank you sir!! I only have DBs up to 40lbs. Seems I will need heavier ones soon........ WIN!! My Olympic BB set goes up to 315 so at least there's that!
Hi, and thank you! 3 kids and a full time job (and a family to support) = like zero time for myself. Having the kiddo with me was incredible. I didn't feel like the worst parent ever doing something for myself. RE: Rob -- he's something ... Glad he's on my team!Team Amazon: Sisterhood of Iron

Good evening everyone. Tonight was a fantastic session. I am feeling strong and like myself again.
Sesh was split in to 2 - kids! lol But I got it done. No excuses. Lots of stressful things going on - I"m sure you're all feeling it too - with Corona, and family and work and the usual life things. I have found refuge again in the weights. AMEN.Team Amazon: Sisterhood of Iron

Covid
Dunno about you kiddos, but I'm going nuts. We've been playing games ALL week and each time it starts a war between the two older kids. Like really?
Catan rage is a real thing. Don't be fooled!! The house is sooooooooooo clean!! I'm doing all kinds of things that I've been putting off (like steam cleaning the hardwood and taking down useless shelves)
What is everyone doing to avoid going crazy?
Stay safe people. Also - high protein diets = crazy gas = social distancing WIN! ha haTeam Amazon: Sisterhood of Iron

If you're feeling extra stress then that will increase cortisol levels. That in turn will cause you to retain water. Since the proverbial sh*t just hit the fan here in Canada this week that might explain the weight loss stall. I would suggest reducing your stress levels and/or taking creatine. Given that the stress reduction isn't happening any time soon your best bet is the creatine.
It will shunt extra water out of the body and shunt new water into the muscle cell. I found this remedy on my own and did it the night before my comps, worked well to get dry without diuretics.
Its cheap, can't hurt you, and is not being stockpiled by ignorant people yet and it might even work and give you that psychological reward for your efforts with a scale drop.
Stay safe and sane my friend.
