Those Korean monitors are so much cheaper cause its some no name brand with 0 warranty. You have to gamble on getting a good panel with no dead pixels. Those korean ebay monitors arent even easy to find in Korea. If you go to a electronic store in South Korea, you wont see those ebay monitors being sold there.
Freesync is open source and costs nothing. Gsync adds about $200 to the monitor price. And this tech makes frames way smoother. i dont think its debatable. its objectively better with this tech in the monitor.Misc Work Crew

one of the most aesthetic cases of all time
I've built 4 PC's in it so far
idk if I just have good luck, but I've never had a dead pixel on a single Korean monitor.
Meanwhile I've returned 4 Acer panels, 2 Samsung CF, etc, in just the last year.
buying through eBay is also a lot easier to return monitors if you do happen to get dead pixels. waaayy better than dealing with the manufacturer.+++ Positive Crew +++

I love how benchmarks from different people always have a different outcome. Ones I saw had the 1080ti out performing the 2080 in most games. Though DLSS won't be out for a good bit. Once it is adapted in all games it will matter. By then they will already have the next gen cards out. I won't be upgrading till they have a card that is 55%+ more than the 1080ti when overclocked.

No! you literally missed out on $400 and below 1080s and $320+ 1070tis yesterday. $530 + tax in Jersey no way that's worth it. I think in the current market you might as well pick up a used 1080ti for that amount of money or a used 1080 and save yourself some money. Or wait for deals like yesterdays eBay sale

You need an SSD. That will make everything you do in Windows faster and will greatly improve load times. As far as framerate/graphics are concerned, your GTX 1060 should handle everything you throw at it at 1080p 60hz. If you really want an upgrade there, start with the display.

15% happens pretty regular tbh. 20% only happened once.
1440p monitor are getting real cost effective as well tons of deals to be had.
I agree with these fellas an sad for your boot drive and maybe your most played games will change your experience. Your cup is still a beastly gamer. But you could overclock it for a few extra frames if not already. 1060 is decent but it's the perfect time to to upgrade your gpu.
Also I'm not sure if speccy actually shows your real ram speed but you know you have to change the xmp profile in the bios to get the stated speed of 1366 or 1600 w/e you haveSteam/Origin id: Fivefootkillerz RSN: Hi cookie

^Agreed on what's been said, your PC is not bad at all tbh.
The SSD is the night and day upgrade. You can make a 10 year old laptop snappy by installing an SSD.
You can definitely take that CPU to 4GHhz+ in 1 minute but I would get an inexpensive aftermarket cooler if you're using the stock one. Something like a Cooler Master 212 and such (It will be much quieter too if you care)
Other than that your GPU is ok for 1080p, but if you upgrade to a 1440 monitor it will start strugglingMe caveman, put round things on bar, lift, pound chest.

what is this overclocking you guys are talking about? no clue what that is lmao. and from your guys' advice definitely gonna get an SSD especially cause i looked and they're pretty inexpensive. thanks boyos!
also another issue I have is that (using fortnite as an example, but happens with all games), when I first start my computer it'll start up and load very quickly and run perfectly, but if I don't shut my PC down for a couple days it starts loading slower and slower to the point where buildings aren't even rendered when I land until I reset my PC, then it's back to normalbench - 320 x 1
