The argument that we no longer NEED to hunt for meat today is as absurd as arguing that we don't NEED to forage for tubers anymore today either. We figured out that farming and domestication was a much more efficient means of gaining substance. We still NEED to do that.
That is because humans forced them to eat only veggie based foods. Also I'd be interested to see the source for this. Dogs in the wild eat meat.Don't have pets myself but I do know that dogs can technically thrive on vegetarian/vegan diets and the worlds oldest dog that lived to 27 was vegan, apparently cats do need meat to be healthy though

So if we stopped mass killing the billions of animals per year in factory farming, someone else would? simple as that? for thousands of years we been doing this with the same methods?
Hate *******s like you that don't consider the population of the earth and the resources we have, phucking potato logic. What is so hard to understand, we need to reduce our meat consumption as it isn't sustainable, the entire 3rd world countries are developing and starting to drive cars and eat steak every day too, then what? RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE
I am not a vegan but admire their dedication - I try and eat veggies most the time as I don't like how animals are slaughtered and we are destroying the earth to make room for cows to graze ffs guys use your brains some of you manly meat eaters are just so stupid, I like eating meat too but guess what, it's ****ing up everything right now

I don't see how my argument about not needing to hunt is absurd since there is literally living proof that humans can do fine without meat i'm failing to see your logic here
The dog was in guiness world records ( not sure which year) but was called "bramble", I understand dogs eat meat in the wild but that's in keeping with what I stated about tribal people, killing animals as they are one of your only food sources is one thing, but for us who all buy stuff from the shops it isn't necessary there are thousands of people that are irrefutable proof of that. Anyway sorry I couldn't find a link for the old dog, as I said i don't have pets, nor would I force my lifestyle on them if i got any I heard about that dog and thought it was interesting.Last edited by JRT91; 03-18-2016 at 09:21 AM.

Fukin lol they complain about animal welfare while at the same time living a luxurious life based off exploiting poor people in China who commit suicide on the regular. You are not a special snowflake, every human being on earth is a selfish piece of sh!t because that's human nature. Stop craving attention.

A wild fuktard appears.
Killing someones kids is murder, killing an animal, especially to use it as sustenance, is not even close to the same thing.
Murder is 'the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.'
If you aren't killing a human, it's not murder.

^^ murder is taking a life and you won't sway my opinion on that one
could care less what the law says, it's within my moral being to know that when I take a life, I've murdered something regardless of if it's an animal I will eat. Humans are animals bro. I'm also a bit of a hippy and just appreciate life, don't really understand your philosophies tbh I feel bad for you
maybe you will reincarnate as a cow

lol what a completely illogical, immoral, heartless *******, thanks for proving that vegans are full of ****
children should be playing and learning, not working in mines, if you believe otherwise, your are scum.
so animal conditions are on the consumer and the manufacturer? but mistreatment of children is on the manufacturer but not the consumer?

1., People suddenly go Vegan, put massive amount of green leafs in their diet that never before - > Feel better -> claims its because he doesn't eat meat.. But who was balanced diet?
2., The whole planet going vegan is not sustainable at all, actually causes the same problem. Not to mention GMO etc.
3., Vegan diet has no vitamin B, how would our ancestors survive then if they were vegan? There were no vitamin supplements back then.Vitamin B is really important.
4., Plants are living organisms too.
5., You wanna know how animals die in the wild? They get torn apart piece by piece by the stronger ones.
6., No CLEAR scientific evidence that vegan diet is better than rich balanced diet.
7., Any idea how to sustain more than 7 billion people when there are already starving, malnutrition on this earth?
waiting for argument.Last edited by Dizson; 03-18-2016 at 10:11 AM.

These people who argue that "we've been doing it for thousands of years so why stop now". Are you people actually brain damaged? I'm pretty sure we didn't pump animals full of hormones and slaughter millions on a day basis. These animals live in fukin putrid conditions, and the fact you think this is OK must mean you're a fukin brain damaged piece of ****. Take your subhuman logic and cut your wrists up. Holy fuk how dumb can you actually be

1) Yeah I think a balanced diet would probably be just as healthy as a vegan diet.
2) It'd be more sustainable than what we're doing now.. IIRC america could feed an extra 800 million people with all the crops / grains that go into feeding animals
3) Vitamin B12 is found from bacteria that are in dirt. Animals today are supplemented B12 as well, so a vegan taking a B12 supplement is simply just taking out the middle man (the animal) and getting their B12 directly
4) Eating meat kills more plants than a vegan diet, because of the vast amount of plants needed to feed animals
5) Don't know what your point is here

Just lol @ people comparing eating meat modern day and eating meat from centuries ago. Meat from modern day comes from animals which suffer from start to finish. Meat was hunted for, animals lived freely and weren't abused like how they are today. Also, finding other food sources was far more complicated, they couldn't walk into a store filled with isles of pasta and phucking peanut butter, you clowns.
Also lol @ people comparing animals to plants, plants don't have brains with central nervous systems. They don't feel pain and emotion.

Vegans are modern day heroes (srs). This is coming from a non-vegan.
They are giving up personal pleasure, convenience, and taking on the backlash of the majority of the population for no personal gain. Granted, some of them do it solely for personal health, but most do it for ethical/environmental reasons simply because it's the right thing to do. If anybody says it isn't the most ethical way to live, they are uneducated or severely biased on the topic. Period.
It's only natural for the human ego to want to share it's triumphs and successes.
I have a lot of respect for vegans. I have even more respect for vegans don't need validation for their sacrifice.
