A bit late but here's my video from IPF Worlds 93kg (weighed at 91.45kg)
-668 squat (Meet and lifetime PR and IPF world record) - gold medal
-380 Bench (not a PR but helped build the totel... really long pauses)
-711 deadlift (meet PR) - silver medal
-1759 total (lifetime PR) - silver medal
Also my first time in a meet going 9/9. Couldn't hardly believe it as I was so injured 4 weeks out I missed 565 for a double. Kept grinding and had the best meet of my life. Sometimes **** just works out when you keep going through the sticking points I guess.

Great job Layne! Must have been the greatest feeling in the world setting a world record, nonetheless getting an overall silver medal at Worlds! Hoping to be there in the near future honestly. What was your lifetime PR deadlift? I'm sure it was difficult choosing your last attempt, but it honestly seemed like you had a little left in my opinion! Again, really good job dude. Oh and will you be at USAPL Raw Nationals this year?

Really nice job. Do you think you're going to be able to improve your bench at 205? Or are you happy maintaining in the upper 300s as long as you keep making marginal increases on your squat/deadlift? Also, do you think it would be advantageous to walk around at 210-215 and cut down or do you like staying within the class?

711 was what we needed to ensure a medal and probably get silver. local meets are where you let your ego go nuts and go for big PRs. worlds is where you build the biggest total you possibly can. I was in no way going to catch krystopf (70 lbs over me). My best ever is 715. Yes it moved smooth and probably had more, but better this than go too aggressive and miss and also get no medal

not advantageous to cut water cut 10 lbs for a 2 hour weigh in... not a good idea. I've toyed with the idea of moving up to 231 but there are no garuntees I'll get that much stronger... and I like being lean LOL. My bench is my worst but it's not as if it's terrible. It was right smack dabe in the middle of the pack at worlds (11 out of 21). I still think I have some room to improve on it. I've hit 395 solidly in the gym, but these were the longest pauses I've ever encountered

fantastic job. was cheering for you through my computer screen and yelling "COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNN!" during your world record squat attempt. pretty sure my parents thought i was crazy.
quick question for you. what do you think of Sedlacek Jakub's european record bench press? seems like he got the press command way to early to me
its at 2:09:00

like to me it looked like the bar was still sinking when he got the press command.
but it wouldnt have made a difference, not like you had a shot at a bench medal, am i right?
i am on that poverty bench time too. srs.
also because i want to go to worlds in 2-3 years. (just need to stay injury free and work on my bench)
(goal is to currently squat 530 raw as a 83kg Sub Jr in December. going to train my ass off.)
just wondering how you paid for the trip? was it out of your own pocket or was it by donations and sponsorships?
congratz again on the WR squat and the 2nd place in total.

Definitely seems quick. Either the audio and video sync are off or the head judge made a mistake assuming the lifter would not continue to go down onto the chest. He could have almost gotten screwed by the fast press command because then the judges could have given him a red for downward motion of the bar after the press command.
