06-25-2015, 09:30 AM #541MFW cheeks are sunken in a bit and jawline is razor sharp. So I go to whole foods to get lunch from their bar and I catch this hnnngggg af/10 brunette chick with a phat ass eyeing me. I look at her and we just stare at each other for a few seconds. I look away and begin to put refried beans in my bowl. Unfortunately, the beans stuck on the bottom of the ladle plopped right on the counter and I looked like an idiot. What do I do? She's about to head towards the checkout lanes.

So I just took the bodpod and got results for it....feel indifferent about it..
I found out Im 10 percent bodyfat at 227. That should be good news right? Well I dont look or feel like I'm 10 percent, more like 13. That means that my margin is error is very small and that in order to get that shredded look I would have to be 7 8 percent.
Such is life...San Diego Chargers and Minny Twolves all day baby!!

tfw shoulder injury. officially dropping flat barbell bench since that seems to be the culprit 90% of the time... even if i warm up, use PL form and tuck my elbows in, once i start to get close to my max i always develop shoulder issues :/

I just accept at the start of a cut that I'm going to lose strength. It comes back in like 3-4 weeks once calories are back in.
I find that if I eat most of my carbs at night and workout the next day, I have pretty good workouts still on a cut, so I have been doing that.

Well that's the problem, I start off with a plan (cooking meals, not eating ****), then it progressively turns into what you said and I get fat.
When I said bulking was hard, it's not because I can't eat a lot of food, it's because I just end up eating a lot of **** after a while (i.e, I get lazy).
Cutting is easy, brb set plan for 8-12 weeks, done. Bulking is hard because it's indefinite with no clear end in sight and you can't see weekly results(sometimes daily) like what you get with cutting.

well i recently started bulking and have been going heavy on flat bench once a week. however, last year i had a lot of issues with this and i was heavy benching twice a week. i do warmup every day and have been using a lacrosse ball on my shoulders as well, although i haven't been too consistent with the lacrosse ball lately. truthfully, i think it might've been standing cable flies that messed me up this time. i usually never do them but gave them a try just out of no where and woke up the next day with an uncomfortable left shoulder. fast forward to today, when i woke up it was ridiculously painful to move my left arm. it's weird since i did legs yesterday. tried doing push today but it went very bad lol, ended up doing some light tricep exercises and calves and did a 360 out of the gym

2 days a week of heavy benching did me in about 2.5 years ago.. I had to completely drop it and switch to dumbells and incline until the pain went away, then brought flat bench back once a week with a bunch of shoulder mobility.
Make sure you arent doing dips as well, but i would try to sub in exercises that dont bother it until the pain goes away.MISC Strength Crew
