Brb never got a fine in 6 years of driving, then done 5 times in a 12 month period.

That Audi S3 won't help your cause especially with some nice cold turbo weather this time of year.

Be sure to break it in in properly and stating the obvious, never thrash it when it's cold. I'm sure you'll hear various opinions on the correct way to do this but given the cost to service these cars I'd err on the side of taking it easy for a while.

I did this with my ride and after almost 100,000 km and 4 years it doesn't burn a drop of oil and I give it an "Italian tune-up" several times a day. Only oil I put it in is Motul X-cess 5W-40 and Gear 300 in the diffs. It's been good to me so I avoid cheap lube. Runs like a champ.

Yep definitely varying opinions on breaking them in. I've only ever had one other new car but did do an engine rebuild on another. Good thing is my gf hasn't moved back up to Sydney yet so going down to see her for the weekend is almost a 300km round trip, will probably have broken the car in after a couple of weeks if you include all my other driving

Haha "Italian tune-up"!! Angus is peppered for servicing costs. But Euro cars (like most good cars really) last if you take car of them. My dad bought a new BMW last year but kept his original BMW he bought in 1999 which still goes strong at 350,000kms!
