x2. indians can't believe you would eat a sacred cow.
40 years ago, a lot of chinese were starving, eating grass and bark to survive. you think they cared if they were eating a "pet"? dog, cat, ferret, rabbit, whatever. meat is meat when you're feeding your starving children. besides, the act of eating dog goes back as far as chinese history can go. there's nothing wrong with eating dog outside of violating whatever sentimental value someone might assign to it. or cat. or grasshopper or cow or whatever.
not that i'd eat dog myself, because i happen to place sentimental value on dogs and cats. i wouldn't think twice about eating a pig, even though i know people out there keep them as pets.

This is one of the reasons why I would never visit korea. Ive only been there twice since both of my parents are from there but this kinda culture sickens me. Correct me if Im wrong but difference between america or china/korea is that we dont torture them right? I mean I just saw that youtube video, and it seriously broke my heart when I saw that first animal getting skinned alive then moving after being skinned.
Im a dog lover and I dont understand how none of these people show even a little sign of emotion or remorse while they are torturing them. If I saw my dog being tortured, id ****in shoot the guy. (serious)-Chicagoan Crew-

Now that dogs came up on the subject I remember I was walking my dog and this elderly chinese couple where stopped on a red light and they wouldnt stop staring at my dog. Before the light turned green and I got closer to the side of the street they were in I noticed a small hairy dog on there back seat. Hope they didnt eat him...

Lol@someone thinking Japanese culture is "normal." My brother's GF is from there and she tells me the creepiest **** about japanese people. They just hide it better and people think they're all anime/samurai/technology or some ****. She once told me how it's actually quite common for old men to go up to young girls and offer to pay them to pee in a cup so they can go home and drink it. I thought she was exaggerating but I asked some other japanese girls and they pretty much confirmed it. I was like "WTF?!" and they said that aspect of their culture is really well-hidden.
Friendship b/w women:
A woman doesn't come home one night. The next day she tells her husband she slept over at a girlfriend's place. Her husband calls 10 of her best friends. None know anything about it.
Friendship b/w men:
A man doesn't come home one night. The next day he tells his wife he slept over at a friend's place. His wife calls 10 of the husband's best friends. 8 of them confirm he slept over, the other 2 claim he's still there.
