Really though, people's concerns are usually valid to an extent. It's just the way that they express them that's inappropriate. I always feel it's best to resolve power conflicts by eliminating the vacuum of power going in any direction, including my own. If I feel I understand the person's concerns, then I can avoid the dilemma of power struggle easier, but one has to also watch out for judging someone's feelings as too typical.

Nah, it was an epiphany that occured upon returning today and reading through this thread. Perhaps we are accustom to our creative ways of communicating as a social 'click' that has been developing seperately from the rest of society since the legendary Aqua-beowolf started it all one sunny day way back when... and now, all that's required to communicate an entire idea is a few words and a few well placed emotive images.
