Yeah, that gum sucked too! I loved the Big League Chew and Fruit by the Foot, but they all sucked. You kept wanting to put more gum in your mouth to renew the flavor, but that just made it worse as it quickly cemented into a big ball of concrete.

Chicken is not bad when it doesn't taste like sh*t.

Next time you're at the store look in the herbs/spices section for Cavenders. Take ~8 boneless chicken thighs (gotta be thighs) and rub them with olive oil in a big bowl. Let them set for ~20 minutes. Then cover them with a rub of Cavenders, kneading it in with your hands in the bowl -- not super thick, about a 50% opacity so you can still see the chicken underneath.

Put the stove/range on medium-low heat and the chicken in a glass-covered pan on the stove. Walk away for 15 minutes. Come back, check that the heat is just enough to cause a low bubbling/boiling of the water that comes out of the chicken.

Return in 30 minutes. Cut the thickest thigh to check that it's cooked.

You now have some of the best damn chicken ever: Cavenders chicken. (for even more epicness, you can sear these on the grill or fast-broil them for a few minutes)

This is also a great seasoning for ... everything else.

The one I had wasn't doing that. She was like 50-something though, and instead would rest what felt like her entire arm's weight on my cheeks/lips. I swear I was bleeding more from the inside of those than I ever have from my mouth.
