I like that a lot - and it does look very good for just being done. Very clean, not all inflamed looking...seriously, it's probably the cleanest one I've seen that was just done.

Like I tell anyone, your tattoo is at its best for a month after the initial healing is done. Then it goes downhill from there. The skin absorbs the ink and the lines get wider, sun exposure is bad for it as well. Unless you are an albino, then they stay better for a long time.
Black & grey tattoo work fades out quicker than colored work, so tell him to use a sunblock on it especially in the summer. I use a Neutrogena 45 on mine.
