kyble there's a pic of your hair where it's pretty short (look like a 6 on top) and you have it parted to the side
your hair on top is identical to mine except my sides are not as short
I get a 4 on top/back and a 6 on top
Should I do with a 2/3 on the sides?Origin of "Rape Sloth" meme:

Damn, definitely going to head in this direction:
I can grow a stellar beard for that cut, too.
I'm used to short hair for pretty much all my life, but right now it's been growing for a good 3 months so I have a base of sorts. I may have to go in and get it cleaned up a bit shortly, though, but I'm wondering what I would even tell the stylist. Just bring a picture and say I want to head in that direction and to just clean it up now and cut it in a way where I can just start to let it grow into that style? All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.

Are you heading in that direction, too? I feel like I need to get my trimmed up a bit because I need to look professional for school and my jobs, but I don't want to set myself back too much. I figure if I get it cut now, that'll give me five months before summer and that might be enough time to get it to that length as I already have a good amount of hair going for me. And once summer comes I can let the beard grow out, too.
Just need it shaped in the meantime so that the part is a little closer to the top and not on the side, I think, as per that picture. All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.

Mine..
I only eat food in bar form. When you concentrate food, you unleash its awesome power, I'm told. That's why I'm compressing 5 pounds of spaghetti into one handy mouth-sized bar...
Hospital please.

Will you end up getting it trimmed/shaped along the way? If so, what do you ask for? Just to kind of get your hair set up so it looks clean and can continue to grow in clean? I feel like I need to get my hair cut real soon, but I don't really know what to say. Give them a picture and them to clean it up so I can work with it now while letting it grow in without it getting too messy, I guess?

i expect so, once every 2 months should be enough. always take your goal pic in. think the technique is called "thinning out" your hair, where the goal is to take the bulk out opposed to the length
just try short sides, medium - long on the top

Very good tbh. It's not really a strong/HARD hold like gel but def keeps it in place without problems. It will seem a bit too hard for my liking right after styling and soften up a bit throughout the day which I prefer. Super flexible also, I'm always re-adjusting absent mindedly throughout the day and it keeps. Have never been a fan of wet products that turn your hair hard, for me it's the best.
My hair is insanely thick too which is why I love this product I guess. It's getting quite long on top, but got no problem managing it

The purple one is insanely strong (and grey inside lol) I wouldn't touch it. Using a small amount of the pink one though I can style it the way I posted in my pic v easily
Yah it is originally for spikey asian hairstyles I guess, but works great for this. I am half HK Chinese and half British so I guess I have more of a combination hair type? Not quite as insanely straight as my asian friends, but still very thick & straight.
I never tried this one sorry, but only need a small amount. Haha next time I'll take a pic of the amount of product or sth..

^^How easy/hard does it come out? I'm on that no-shampoo time, so do you think I would have problems with it?

I donno how you guise use the American crew Fiber product...bought it and it just clumps up and is difficult to style my hair with.
Currently using Garnier surf hair, works pretty good**CANADIAN CREW**

I don't think it would be a problem either. I usually wash every 2-3 days (unless it rains or something) otherwise my hair gets way too dry, it's as if there's no product there after the second day, super easy to manage imo
Mini tubs also available, might be better to buy first rather than being stuck with a bigger tub!
