I'm taking the M70 and VEPR II out Monday morning, I'll let you guys know how they shoot. The dark wood thumbhole stock w/ stippling on the pistol grip and handguard turned out really nice.

The only reason I know when Walmart has ammo is because my brother n law is a district sales manager and he looks up the truck manifest for me. Once he locates a store that has what I need in stock he gives me a call. I then get my ass up at 7am wait at the counter until someone will sell me what I want. I had the MOD tell me this morning there was a 5 box limit. So I called my brother n law and let him speak to the Manager. After a brief phone call I was allowed to buy what ever I wanted. I wasn't being greedy I only needed 500 rounds of .223 and they had 2K

The fact that it is an off duty cop really waters it down. Many consider them to be a special class of citizen, and cannot extrapolate what they do to what a private citizen in the same situation might do.
