Bodycraft F430 a good starter rack?

I saw this power cage Bodycraft F430 on CL and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on it. What are the pros and cons on this track? Also, how much would it run for this rack in used excellent condition? Thanks!

That rack is fine. I wouldn't pay more than $250. But that depends on your local market.

Its about $800 new and came with the dip handles. For used stuff it should never go for more than about half new price.

I hope so because it is the rack I started with and still use. I chose it because it is rated to 1,200 lbs, and the supports are fast to change.
You just pull the handle and move them. But more important than just ease of use is the need for a large work space with some other brands.
I do not have a real big room so having to pull a solid piece bar out every to change a position would take 2x the racks depth.

Also, the F430 was available locally but it did become my 1st choice. It does have a lifetime warranty. Not sure if that is transferable to a 2nd owner.
Set up it is sturdy and the rubber inserts on the supports are a nice addition for my home setting. I have never seen a used one for sale.

Thanks everyone for all the information. The guy selling the rack wants $300 for it and he won't go any lower. If I buy here in the next couple days I'll post up some pictures. Thanks again!

It's worth the $300. I had one for a couple of years and I loved it. I also had the dip handles, an extra set of bar hooks and the cable crossover. I upgraded or I'd still have it. They don't sell the crossover anymore, but I would recommend the dip handles and the extra bar holders (you can't take them off, so another set on the front uprights makes the cage more versatile.)

Oddly, the cross over is still available in the Australian market.

That is odd, you'd think if they were going to make them, why not sell them to whomever wanted one. I'm sure they have a reason, just seems odd.
