hey guys..i have always been a car guy, but i am interested in possibly buying a truck. i dont know too much about trucks but i know i want a quad cab, and 8 cylinder truck, no 6..can you guys recommend me some to look at?

edit: off the toyota website, looks like 4x4 quadcabs start at 31k, 2x4 quadcabs start at 28k.. new of course, could probably get used for around 20k give or take

i have a v8 sierra...lots of power and excellent on gas...
quad would easily fit 4 people...crew cab even better

I LOVE my ram, plus the hemi is a huge plus. My quad cab is huge and easily comfortably fits many people.

yeah, it's a reliable truck. I've only had one problem with it and that was the coolant reservoir cracked and had to pay $70 to get it replaced, but other than that still going strong. my dad is driving it right now though since the other truck(85 chevy k10, amazing) isn't running, but we're getting an engine for it in few weeksOriginally Posted by immuno

I personally think ford/chevy/dodge are better than the rest...I rarely see any of them broken down on the side of the road

all of the ford trucks my dad has owned have pushed passed 200k with relatively no major problems

Dodge's are awesome work trucks and good with hauling. Chevy's are low, you pull and it looks like the bumper is going to drag.
Personally I haven't known anyone who has had issues with Fords... but everyone hates them.
What do you want to do with it?
