Lately heading down to the gym has been a big effort, its like a chore. But once im there i enjoy it, i just think its the actual trip there that puts me off, its just a depressing trip although it doesn't really take long at all.
How are you when it comes to going to the gym? Love it? Hate it? Can't wait till its over?

"As you know bb'ing takes time, so even though you thought your 60 lbs would be as big as you'd get, now that your there, you realise you can do more. Its a good thing. It keeps you progressing and getting better. Be proud of how far you've come, and from that, be motivated about how much further you can go."

"The greatest feeling you can get in a gym, or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is... The Pump. Let's say you train your biceps. Blood is rushing into your muscles and that's what we call The Pump. You muscles get a really tight feeling, like your skin is going to explode any minute, and it's really tight - it's like somebody blowing air into it, into your muscle. It just blows up, and it feels really different. It feels fantastic. It's as satisfying to me as, uh, coming is, you know? As, ah, having sex with a woman and coming. And so can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am like, uh, getting the feeling of coming in a gym, I'm getting the feeling of coming at home, I'm getting the feeling of coming backstage when I pump up, when I pose in front of 5,000 people, I get the same feeling, so I am coming day and night. I mean, it's terrific. Right? So you know, I am in heaven."

How can you guys hate squats? I love them! I used to hate them but once you break your legs in it's an awesome feelings. The "beat to ****" feeling you get when you work a muscle really well seems to fade for other muscles but stays for legs... legs is the only muscle anymore that can make me throw up, I love it

I've always been a morning person, so I wake up psyched to go. I get there, I enjoy it, and I leave happy. Off days don't bother me, but I would much rather be in the gym. Food is what I hate. Eating 6 meals a day is a hassle for me. But i get it done. I am like some of the people on here, I hate squats but I love deads. All in all, I love going to the gym.
I used to be 135 pounds, give me a break.

For me the gym is simply a means to an end, just like eating, supplementation, and sleeping. What I enjoy is knowing I am in shape, feeling healthy, and seeing results as my lifts go up and I get bigger in the mirror.
A king may move a man, a father may claim a son. But remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.

I hate it because i dont grow, and i spend so much time money and effort on such an activity that just doesnt yield results.. Eating is also a hassle... because i can eat all day and only be .1lb heavier the next day. I dont see the motivation in it, but i do it simply because i cant live with myself if i dont TRY. For me its 100% a chore.
