First,try not including the bare minimums like water,sleep,ect. Second, what things do you absolutely have to have to keep you at your best when you are working out, just getting through the day after working out, or even keeping you sane during a strict diet. Plz give an explanation if you could. Just curious. Mine are(in order of most important)
1) Ipod/Music
This makes such a huge difference in my workout, that one song can be my 2nd breath during HIIT and lifting sometimes.
2) Coffee
This actually puts me into the mood to workout, and harder at that
3) Creatine
Once i started taking this it elevated my workout to a whole different level of intensity. I feel more aggressive on this stuff for some reason.

As far as getting through my run I listen to music for the majority of the run. Just recently I started taking my headphones off on the last 10 minutes. This allows me to concentrate on my breathing more. Some songs tend to pump me up and get my heart rate up higher than it needs to be to maintain my pace. I feel like I can more easily keep my breath at a steady and smooth rate.
As for dieting I normally drink lots of water and if im starving to the point that I cant handle a cup of hot coffee seems to temporarily suppress my hunger.
