True Protein site

Is it a good site to buy protein. I just want like 5 lbs of whey and 5lbs of milk protein isolate for cheap and i can get this for like 53 bucks.

Are the shipping rates good and is it a good reliable site?

You also thing its worth it to put aminogen in there? Will the extra 7 bucks be worth it or is that just overrated or a way to get a little extra cash each sale?

yes.. i really like putting aminogen in my protein..

look at it this way.. it helps you get more bang for your protein, which in turn you waste less... save money in the long run because the protein you are putting in your protein is not utilized more efficiently

i just checked this site out, its pretty cool. but how do you guys know what to put in? im not too educated on all these different protein types, i know whey casein and that stuff, but like all these other types, and isolates and concentrates, whats best?

I love that site!! Well....not really, but I do buy all my WPC and MPI from that site in large quantities. Sometimes mixing together a nice custom blend for pre-bed is nice too. All the BSL flavors taste pretty good. Never gone for the aminogen, but might have to try it next time.

their WPI is not realy a good quality, i get the worst protein gas case, and upset stomach from it. too bad because i have 25lb left from it.

well, it all depends on what your needs are.
for a meal replacement, I like 50%WPC, 30% milk protein isolate, and 20% egg.
for a night-time, I like 80% mpi, and 20% egg.
for postworkout, I do 100% WPC with aminogen, but some people like 50% WPC and 50%WPI.

i just made a blend yesterday to use for while i'm on x-factor; i typically get my fat from almonds, but this time i decided to have my fat in the shake. I did 45% wpc, 20% mpi, and 35% whole egg. this will give me around 11 grams of fat and 40 grams of protein per serving.

how do you know what the macros are? (all i can seem to find out are the %'s, but am having trouble translating that into grams per serving).

protein factory's casein has little hard chunks of god knows what in it that crunch in your teeth, whereas true protein calcium caseinate does not.

True Protein is very cheap and good quality, AWESOME customer service, they really try to help you out. Their site looks really cool too...*zones out staring at screen* Oh yeah, um, the aminogen would definately be a good idea. Why are people still buying isolates though? Haven't we all agreed that concentrate is fine for any time other than bed and periworkout? And for periworkout, hydro whey. And bedtime? Casein.

True Protein is a solid company. I use their pre-bed formula with Black Star Labs chocolate flavor.....absolute perfection.
