My workout partner and I were doing shrugs today and I was like man you think anyone can curl that? (185lb) on there. "He's like no way man". But i think the record is probably around there. I tried looking it up on the net but i couldn't find it. So do you guys know the standing barbell curl record, and the single arm DB curl record?

Lee Priest has done something like 320 for 4 strict reps on an EZ bar. I've seen a video of a guy curling 100lb DBs before. There was this skinny kid at my gym also, I swear he was curling 75lb DBs like it was nothing.

On the news about a month ago they showed some skinny-ass old indian (asian) curling a 200 lb dumbell (one arm) for like four or five reps, can't remember exactly. Anyone know more about that one?

Curling is one of the events in the division I compete in. My best is 198. The heaviest in our organization is 242. These are absolutely strict on an EZ bar. I aint from MO but you would have to show me someone curling over 300 strict.
