^ 1 hour is just too long, you're calves are gonna die after 1 hour of jump rope.
Try this with jump rope...
Total time: 20 minutes
3 minute rounds of jump rope
then do about 20 of either push ups, squats, burpees, crunches
repeat for 20 to 30 minutes...
It sure beats just jumping for an whole hour... you can switch it up and do something like skipping on right foot, skipping on left foot, double unders etc.

6000 skips? WOW...I can do only 1000 in one hour, that too in increments of 50 at a time. The 50 at a time are too intense themselves and i take a 30-60 second break between them. And I know I m being effective because my calves and thighs hurt like hell and the region of my arms from back till the bicep muscle..hurts as well..
do you do 6000 all in one go?
