A full grown wolf would kill you before you even knew you were cut if it intended to eat you. Those things bring down much larger and stronger animals than humans as a way of life. I've been attacked several times but random pits and while they were certainly not trained fighting dogs, they still couldn't get past the kicks. There is no way my kicks would prevent a wolf from tearing out my throat for even a second.

Read some old stories on pit matches. These dogs have been known to do the exact same thing. Putting quarter size holes in the other dog's skull, breaking legs with one bite, snapping necks with one bite, crushing ribs, chest, muzzles, hind legs, stifles, shoulders, etc with one bite. I know of one story I read that it was, I believe 2 females being matched. It was said they were pretty even and all of the sudden one seemed to look like it got pissed off. It clamped down on the back of the other bitches neck and bit. The other dog went limp and **** itself. It died right then and there from having a severed spine. And this was from a dog that probably weighed no more than 40ish pounds.

I've been attacked by plenty of pitbulls because i live in a hick town. I've never even been harmed in such an incident. That would not be the case with any grown wolf. So at least I can form an opinion based on some amount of experience, whereas you can't. As I said in my other post, they were not trained pit bulls, so you basically just repeated what I just said. That Rott bit harder than that pit. Bite force is absurd and too vague. I can probably find Labs that bite harder than some Rotts. It's relative. How do we know the dog is biting 100%? Too many variables to take into account. Yes, some pit bulls probably can't bite there way out of a wet paper bag. But others have been known to severe spinal cords and put holes in skulls.

I've a friend that works for animal control and according to him the 'baddest' dog he'd ever seen came from south America, they used them to hunt Leopards and stuff. As for a Pitbull, they can easily be handled once you're trained.

Yes, it's because of self preservation which includes NOT fighting. Especially for a length of time as pit bulls have been bred to do.

I'm def not saying pit bulls win 100% of the time. I'm just saying the favor is heavily stacked for them in a fight.

A wolf survives because of it's instinct for survival. A domestic dog can't do that. A retriever will die in the wild b/c it's instincts would be to retrieve items. Not look for food or shelter. A hound will be too busy tracking. A pointer will be too busy pointing. A pit bull would be too busy fighting.

Bite force isn't an indicator of fighting ability. Only how hard it can bite. After a certain amount, it becomes obsolete. If 238lbs of pressure can break bone, is 1000lbs going to break it more?

Oh yeah, i used to volunteer at an animal shelter a lot, and I worked in close quarters with pits that would come in ****ed up on gunpowder and pain killers, they would run around in a circle at the end of their chain until they wore a ring into the ground literally a foot deep. They were completely insane and viscous and i agree there is no way a human could stop a true fighting pit.
