    weight gain from Deli meats?

I know there is a lot of sodium (and other preservatives) in packaged lunch meat...but is there also that same stuff (not as bad) from the deli meats that you buy from the deli itself (pre sliced but they weigh it out for you).

seems like when i start eating deli meat i feel heavier than on wks i don't .

wondering if there is a correlation. the meat i get is turkey breast and/or thinly sliced chicken breast

    ur thoughts?
    thanks

    It's the same stuff.

I think.. Someone can correct me if i am wrong, but the boatload of soduim in the prepackaged deli meat will cause water retention and thus the extra few pounds

Other wise, I cant think of any other reason that may be related.
