    EZ curl bar

Whats the difference between the inside and outside part where you hold the bar? Do they work the different head of the biceps? Kinda hard to explain but hope you will understand!

If you hold it on the inner part, it works the inner/middle bicep more. If you hold it on the outer part, it works the outer bicep.

Grip the bar wider when doing Standing curls. Also try using a barbell at times. You will see how much harder a barbell is than an E-Z curl bar.

i think the barbell is only harder than e-z is because it hurts your wrists, personally it seems to work the same.
who knows maybe it is harder, but not for me

    Thumbs up

Same here... The straight bar just hurts more, doesn't seems to hit the bicep as well. I like EZ and will stick with it.

I definitely agree with that.. that the Barbell is harder to curl with a wide grip. If you do them with your palms up it hits the bicept really good.

I prefer the E-Z bar to the barbell but I like to mix it up between wider and closer grips.

Basically as long as you use a moderate to heavy weight and do between 5-8 reps with perfect form and fight the weight on the way down slowly you will get huge bicepts. I think it's just a matter of personal preference.
