Whats the difference between the inside and outside part where you hold the bar? Do they work the different head of the biceps? Kinda hard to explain but hope you will understand!

Same here... The straight bar just hurts more, doesn't seems to hit the bicep as well. I like EZ and will stick with it.

I definitely agree with that.. that the Barbell is harder to curl with a wide grip. If you do them with your palms up it hits the bicept really good.
I prefer the E-Z bar to the barbell but I like to mix it up between wider and closer grips.
Basically as long as you use a moderate to heavy weight and do between 5-8 reps with perfect form and fight the weight on the way down slowly you will get huge bicepts. I think it's just a matter of personal preference.
