    Unhappy Stomach Fat

Can anyone assist me in learning how to lose stomach fat ? I'm losing weight but not seeing myself losing any inches off my body. The only place I've notice fat going away is my arms. I am getting discouraged because I have a gut and can't lose it. I don't expect 6 pack and but I would atleast like to not have a gut that hangs over my belt. Can anyone help.
Also I have a bad back injury so certain things like sit-ups cause a lot of physical pain. I enjoy planks and squats with light weight since they don't hurt as bad.
I have also changed my diet and eat pretty healthy and drink mostly water, the exception being protein shakes.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Diet diet diet. I cannot stress that your diet, more importantly calories in vs. calories out is the most important factor in weight loss

Give it some more time and (as mentioned) re-check your diet. If your diet is in order you will lose the gut. Planks are 100% fine for ab development, but it all comes down to getting your body fat percentage down.

I feel your pain bro. I'm in the same spot as you right now. I'm down about 5% bodyfat and 15lbs, but my gut still hangs over my pants if I don't suck in a little bit.

Do some comparisons from before and now if that helps you. Like if you are fitting into smaller jeans, focus on that or if some old shirts you own now fit then use that as motivation. Use anything that improves your self-esteem as motivation for continuing to lose weight because YOU WILL GET THERE. Don't give up man!

Keep dropping body fat. Make sure your nutrition is solid and be patient. It will take time.

Last resort, get a blood test for hormone levels like thyroid and testosterone/estrogen.

It will certainly take time, you cant spot reduce fat, usually with men the last place to lose b/f is the stomach, you'll notice it drop off your arms, legs, chest and then stomach, maybe not 100% accurate but im sure someone on here will clarify

Keep at it, make sure your diets in check, maybe include some cardio after weights and you will start to see results
