I think he meant he eats 1200-1400 cals from JUST peanut butter alone...But anyway, that is awfully a lot of fats you are taking in (althought they are good fats)...I think if you keep it within a certain ratio of carbs/protein/fats (for instance 40/40/20) then it would be fine...

well i love peanut butter too, but i definatly dont eat around 1200 calories of it a day. And if you gained 5lbs. in 3 days about 90% of that is probably fat. Just cut it down a little. I usually take in any where from two to 5 Tablespoons a day.

I eat alot of Pb but not anything near your cal intake. Hopefully its a natural or organic PB. Most Pb has hydrogenated fat to preserve it. Natural and organic usually dont. just take in like 3 servings a day. over dueing it may add unwanted fat.

Too much omega-6 if you ask me. I'd try to substitute in other fats like olive oil and advocados - or eat other nuts, or something like almond butter.

If you can find mixed nuts cheap (e.g. COSTCO) you could make your own 'nut butter'.

Right, and how much of that do you think is going to be muscle? If you carry on gaining at that rate you're talking about 8-10 lbs per week. A decent rate of muscle gain is probably 1 lb per week, although it depends how long you've been training. Methinks you are going to be one fat muthafukka.
    Awesome. Awesome to the max.
