Something like 25mg of Ephedrine HCL to give a little energy boost. Generally safe or unreasonably dangerous?

i don´t know about you but i have used the same dose once before a basketball game.I was so focused at the game, i had only one vision, win win win, it was awsome i was so alert etc.it was one of my best games. 24 points 8 rebs 2 monsterblocks and 4 dishes and 2 buzzers.i loved to ply on this stuff.
The downside was that i was a little nervous and my heart would pump so hard on the warmup.although i had 300mg of magnesium in my drink i had a calf cramp at th eend of the game( i do get a lot of calf cramps without ephedra tho), which was not an isue becaue we won the game.i was mad confident. You have to be carefull with ephedra, i take like 12 mg eph + 50mg caffeine once a month when i really feel mad tired, you can get addicted easlily to this stuff.that my 02c*******BALLA 4 LIFE********

I won't go into the side effects of stimulants like that, because I don't want to dispel a supplement that actually works. So aside from the side effects, why do you need to take it? If you feel tired throughout the day and before games, it would be easier and potentially cheaper to look at other aspects of your nutrition and training.
How is your nutrition right now? Are you eating enough cals? What kinds of foods are you eating pre and post workouts/games?
How many hours of sleep are you getting a night? Do you deal with a lot of stress during the day?
What is your training regimen looking like right now? Could you be overtraining?
All of these factors can attribute to your energy and performance during games.

I've seen a lot of athletes take it for endurance. Make sure you get a ton of water if you do take it.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing"
