    Question What to take after the gym

    Hey,

    Yet another question question from me This time is about what supplements ones should take after doing a workout. I heard protein, creatine, carbs, and glutamine. What is the window of time that one should take the supplements? I heard some time between 30 - 60 min.

    Post workout drink immediately after working out. Protein 25-30 grams of whey, 50-75 grams of dextrose. Then eat a whole food meal 30-60 minutes later. I would only take glutamine if you are in cutting stage. Also if you are in cutting stage drop the amount of dextrose you are taking.
