CC debt isn't an issue if you can pay it off. It really depends on what interest rates one's getting.
When I wuz building my credit score, all my cards had like 24% interest rates lol. Not sure what the interest rate is for folks with good credit though. Haven't owned a CC in a while so I forgot all the little facts.🤴Supreme Self Esteem Crew

mirin, I use alaska airlines and will churn out the max 50K yearly spend on that for tier status. It only gets you to the first tier which sucks, thinking of switching. Should hit second tier from flying so we'll see how that goes.
And yeah, no balances- thats a great way to never be able to get a larger loan and/or a decent rate.
That's a tricky game, dont wait until the last month to pay it off.USMC 0311

Howdy....
I'd guess most of us have been in that bottomless abyss of CC debt.
We're both retired now and due solely to our move out of of Ca. (2019) to another state we had about 6K+ in CC debt after it all was done.
It was painful to look at that statement each month.
Unfortunately, sometimes we have to take that route.
But....we paid 200+ a month and the last payment was May 2023.
Talk about a happy f'ing day that was!
Time for some Crown Royal and wallow in the glory of having NO CC debt.
Easy to say, but if one can't exceed paying their suggested minimums (dble or triple) it will be like a big black nimbus cloud that follows us around as a constant reminder.
Oh....we have no CC with anyone now and can easily live within our means.
