Yea, I'm natty, so that was my calendar plan if I am to do a 0.5 to 0.75lb per week bulk.
1lb a week was something I did in my 20's but now it would be excessive I think.


But I may just say fukk it and do 1lb per week. In that case, I'm thinking May to August, then cut for September and October, then bulk again for the winter. Now that I put it together, this seems to be more practical - I just don't like putting my body through all those ups and downs plus higher cholesterol.

I'm not really focusing on squat or deadlift either. I put them towards the end of the workouts so I don't need to go too heavy. Mostly focusing on hypertrophy.

ngl unless you're powerlifting or training for something specific, heavy deadlifts make no sense at all. Modest deadlifting in a higher rep range makes way more sense for hypertrophy and general stability.
