In my experience, leftists (be it muslim or not) will usually start off by saying they condemn violence, condemn Hamas etc. But as the discussion goes on, more and more excuses will be provided for the Hamas terrorist attack. "But the Israeli settlers" "They had no other options" etc. I mean just the fact that every single thing Israel does is presented in a "look how evil and unecessary this was" by western media essentially underlines their view on the conflict. In their eyes, Hamas was justified in their attack. Because if Hamas was not justified, then Israel would be justified in their response - which they obviously do not believe to be the case.Originally Posted by lnvictus
