Very good looking people who present themselves as gurus of this, that or the other.
On the basis that their looks likely played a large role in helping them attain their status rather than mostly off the back of their skill/merit.

I didn't trust anyone. With that said, I give more value to honest people. How can I tell that someone is honest? It's hard to keep track of lies, so if what they said yesterday contradicts with what they say today, that's your answer.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I tend to trust people who are open about their faults far more than those who present themselves as beacons of morality, or victims of circumstance.I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.
