Robber was 30 years old.
Prior conviction of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, which involved a business owner being shot and killed. Supposed to serve 15 years and was released after 7 years, and while on parole he was charged with assaulting his wife. Finally he was killed while committing another robbery with a deadly weapon...
Sounds like the shooter did the world a favor.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
Performance and performance alone dictates the predator in any food chain.

This one hits home.
I’ve been robbed at gunpoint before. I’ve felt the cold of the steel barrel against my skull and the paralyzing fear that my life is in the hands of someone who is threatening to kill me. I’ve played that moment over in my head hundreds of times. I’ve had nightmares about it. I’ll never be the same. I believe it triggered a mild form of PTSD I’ll have to live with for the rest of my life.
What this based taco man did is the exact fantasy I’ve had in my head of doing to the piece of chit who robbed me. Sadly in my case I have no idea who it was and never will. He got away, but even if I had my way, NY would’ve thrown the book at me. At least this TX scumbag will never terrorize his community again. At least the justice system in TX respects what is just.
God bless this brave old man. He is a true hero. I hope the criminal scumbag suffered and choked on his blood as he faded into the abyss on the floor. I hope his mother feels the pain he inflicted on others every single day.

All shootings in Texas are referred to a grand jury. If it appears to be a good shoot, it's referred without charges.
"Bail reform" in Harris county means that bails are insanely low. Typically the DA asks for a lowball amount and the judge cuts it in half. A second DWI gets you $100 bail. You would think that being arrested for a felony while on bail for a felony would be an automatic no bail, but we had a drug user/dealer neighbor who was arrested for felonies 4 times along with a couple of misdemeanors and bailed out each time before finally being arrested and staying in jail after the bail was raised high enough. His last arrest was only 3 days after his previous arrest. While on bail he attracted 2 shootouts to his driveway but wasn't charged because he was the "victim".
Edit: His bond for the Assault of a Family Member charge was $500. DA had asked for $5000."Bones heal, pain is temporary, and chicks dig scars" - Evel Knievel
