Currently with iphone 13 Pro Max, a WORLD of a difference between the two, at first it was a nightmare but now.....

brb apple pay
brb imessage/facetime
brb applications are a million times smoother and better designed
brb display is amazing
brb icloud+ backups making swaping or moving to a new phone like magic
brb everything just works
brb never going back to android sorry
cons:
brb paying for apps and subs so no more free apks
brb much more expensive, having to buy even the charger lol
brb no headphones jack

I've gone back and forth over the years between Samsung and iPhone, after multiple different phones between the two I've stuck with iPhone. It's just more user friendly. I'm not a tech person, so i can't appreciate the intricacies of the Samsung phones.
My only knock on Apple is them changing their fukin chargers all the time + removing the headphone jack with no included option like the connector or airpods.6'1 - 240lbs

Yes. I would keep my iphone 7+ over the latest samsung device for a lot of the reasons you said. Plus, my home office is a mac + pc split and using the both for almost 15+ years it seems i would take mac every day of the week.
brb windows update and it breaks all kinds of chit. i paid 3x what i paid for my m1 mac mini to build a PC and i hate using it for anything except gaming.

I've only used iPhones but I think next phone I'm switching to Android.

I went from Android to iPhone and regret it. The user interface is terribly designed. Can't use the phone with one hand, the icons are on the TOP.
