Other posters beat me to it, but yes much different. GooBaaa explained it best. The thing is brutal. 15 minutes of sprints on an Assault Bike will have you crying.... like other poster said - It's best for HIIT cardio. Which is better anyways. You can go walking for LISS which is free.

Hmmmm something to look into for the home gym for sure. Always wondered about these.
Currently been hitting the heavy bag. I'll follow some youtube videos, or just make up some freestyle crap and do it HIIT style. 1 min 100% >> 30 seconds 25%. 20 mins of that **** kills meAre you not entertained?

Heavy bag is awesome for HIIT.
I've gotten hooked on our spin bike, got it when our Y basically shut down last year.
If you do that, get the peloton app for 12.99/mo (you can use the app with any spin bike) and you can do a YOOOOGE variety of classes from HIIT to Power Zone (which is basically what the pro cyclists do to progress over time and not just hit a plateau after a few months).
Bonus: Peloton has alot of other stuff from yoga to strength (never tried that one) to running, etc.Hebrews 12: 1,2
