Misc,
I finally got my new PC. Ordered in November 2020, received in February 2021 with GPU that was dead on arrival (so frustrating). Company upgraded me and sent me new 6900xt and the card swap got the PC working a few days ago.
Questions: 1. How do I enable RAGE mode and should I do so if I only have stock air cooler?
2. How do I turn on Smart access memory (SAM) and should I do so if I only have stock air cooler?
3. edit bios shows ram clock only at 2666 mghz. How do I ensure my Ram sticks are running at correct speed??
Here's computer specs. Thanks in advance!!!

In your bios you are going to have to make sure resize bar and 4g decoding is enabled
and then
you will be fine with stock cooler, your cpu/gpu are smart enough and will throttle its performance to cool down if it ever get too hot. monitor your temps, i think with AMD you press like ctrl + shift + o to see the gpu stats.
edit: and enable XMP for your ram (in the bios) so it runs at the advertised speeds, make sure it shows 3200 after.. Ryzen cpu's love fast memory, running at 2666 is slowing down your fast 5900x ryzen cpu big time. =Last edited by rocketfish; 02-18-2021 at 01:57 PM.

Good advice. Repping you for helping OP.
Stock cooler is too weak for my personal taste to put it on Rage Mode, but that's just me. Shouldn't matter having SAM on though I don't think.
To add on to your suggestion about the RAM speed, most people also manually set the Zen 3 CPU's fclock to enable that perfect 1:1 ratio, without any dividers/calculations interfering to reduce performance. The idea is setting the RAM to 3200mhz via XMP, and to then set the 5900x's fclock to be 1600mhz.i7-14700k

MSI PRO Z790-A WIFI
Everything I write is NOT financial advice.

Thanks brahs! Had to flash bios since there was an update on 2/17/21 but that allowed me to turn on SAM and fix ram speed. Just turned on RAGE Mode.
Now time to go have some fun and get smashed in EFT. Appreciate the help. repsด้้้้้็็็็็้้้้้็็็็ส็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็
