    I think the logic is the targeted area gets accustomed to a certain range of motion so why not and try to sneak up on dem fibras and confuse them for gains

    i.e. I generally do 3 sets of 3-4 exercises for a given group target

    Attempting to change the recruitment pattern of muscle fibers would be one reason to perform exercises of the same muscle, but with a different angle of resistance/relation to the body, etc.

    This is what I do. One exercise starts to feel easy if I only do it every time. Not 10 different ones. Usually 2 per workout, like standing curls x 4 and concentration or machine curls x2. Stripping or negatives, sometimes, as well, except I feel too exhausted if every set uses stripping.

    Most people do way more than they need to because their execution and effort is complete poo poo and end up just spinning their wheels. 8-10 working sets per PPL workout. Come @ me bruh

    As a guy that has been doing this for a while, angles help with development as well as the type of stress.
    I may be superior at 1 movement but a slight change in angle may make it much harder and may make me super sore the next day.
    By doing several variations i am guaranteeing changing stress.

    TBH I've not trained my arms in months thanks to the 24 hour chitness 1 hour window fukking with my PPL but even when they let me have a decent workout I'll probably only do one exercise for maybe 4-5 sets of high reps.

    I change that exercise every pull day if that counts?

    So you’re telling me your muscle is smart enough to realize this and say “na, I’m not gonna grow. It’s the same variation of the same exercise!”. Your muscles are still lifting weight regardless. You could do 15 sets of DB curls and your biceps would get results still.
