Most of those are clean. Depending on the era. Also, you answer for taking runs by fighting. Not getting a card. Hockey players are far and away the toughest team sport athletes. Some of those are youth league hockey games and college. Notbjust pros. Nothing feels more gratifying than taking a number and catching someone later with a clean hit. **** I’ve been hip checked in a **** rec league that was no contact.

No contact sports lack the intensity that makes hockey alpha. Lol at maybe breaking an ankle or needing a stitch cause a cleat catches you.

I don't know about Canada but here the best athletes gravitate towards the big 3 of Football, Baseball and Basketball in that order. NFL is still king, MLB is next and NBA is third. I believe hockey/NHL is a close fourth.
