Some really odd suggestions in this thread.
Sparring is good for working on technique, but don't go out of your way to receive more hits to the head than necessary, preferably none. Most professional fighters are extremely wary on this fact. Getting hit in the head can take it's toll.
Working the core directly is always going to be better than compounds on their own.
Honestly a lot of this is going to be genetic.
Best bet is to avoid getting hit. Take some lessons, eat healthy, workout.Good Luck!

The only true way to "know how to take a punch" is being punched....but no one can recommend you go out and brawl...Not advisable. Getting into bodybuilding can build your overall size (sculpt your muscles), increase your weight, develop muscle separation and definition, build great strength and stamina, and build overall confidence....These are just some of the benefits one can achieve through a good BB program, and weight lifting program as well.
Do you have a current lifting program? Have you looked into Fierce 5, Starting Strength, or All Pros? Anyone would need a good strength foundation to work with....Last edited by etet1919; 03-10-2019 at 05:52 AM.
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.
Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!
