Those of you that are saying it's a step in the right direction because it is saving s couple hundred calories are confusing being skinny as meaning being healthy.
There are millions of unhealthy skinny people same as the are millions of unhealthy fat people
The chit this garbage is made out of is very unhealthy
But even that aside. Even though says diet vs getting a regular us going to save them a couple hundred calories. That means little when you sit on a couch all day and stuff big Mac and large fries down your throat everyday.
The odds if that 200 Cal's putting them into a defecit is unlikely.
With all that said when you get to the bottom of it unless you eat clean all day everyday you are going to be ingesting other garbage chemicals too.
People should just learn to manage what goes in vs what goes out. And enjoy a little of everything they find pleasuring

No, we aren't.
How do you know what people you see at a restaurant do all day?
But even that aside, if they have a problem consuming too many calories, cutting hundreds of calories out with a diet soda makes logical sense...because they are now getting fewer calories.
Never said or implied that would put them into a deficit. But if they are consuming too many calories, cutting a few hundred out makes sense.
Sure.
That's why a lot of folks here drink, say, an energy drink with 0 calories (and plenty of caffeine) instead of any soda. And the 0 calories part is a big factor.

200 cals also makes a big difference in smaller females on a cut. I can tell you from experience with clients that can be a big deal. When you are eating 1500 cals a day or even less for smaller individuals it adds up.

From all of the studies it would seem that sweetened drinks are SLIGHTLY better than sugar drink for disseases like diabetes, but long term sweeteners don't have propper studies and are asociated with weird intestinal diseases because they affect the intenstinal microflora. Soo maybe just don t drink sweetened or sugar drinks...Just fruit juice maybe if you can't live without sweet drinks
